![]() The only other way to really lease machine is set to borrow it from the farmer doing contract missions. As leasing costs are only really viable when you have fields that are four to six hectare. You will use a lot less money on leasing costs doing it that way. One thing I will note is that if you can get the machines that you're looking for out of the used vehicle category and actually own them or build up to purchase them. Let's see how much money I can make from all these source. As my grapes start growing, I will lease required machines for it, chicken are producing eggs, soon I will start supplying water to my greenhouse so they can start producing too, also the next cycle of wheat is getting ready to harvest, then there will be bales to sale. Now I will wait to actually earn some money before spending again. I have spent some money to buy seeds and fertilizers, a silo, the chicken coop, one small greenhouse, and made a very small vineyard- that took a big amount of money. So this time I am using my money slowly, I own only one big field, growing some wheat all with lease machinery, I bought two tractors, one truck and a seeder that can do fertilizing as well- all were available in used machine category. ![]() As I've said, I am new to this game, everytime I've played before I've planned poorly at start, used all my cash quickly and then turned myself into literally a penny less farmer. I've bought only one big field which was ready to harvest to earn some money from start. Though I've turned off crop destruction and snow on ground option in settings. I love sandbox style but I am determined not to use any money cheat. I've started as Farm manager mode where I own nothing but only a lot of cash. Before I actually started this playthrough I'm on I had a Silverrun save where I just kinda used that 1.5mil to buy some tools and vehicles and test them out, see what I liked and didn't about the small vehicles for logging. ![]() You can always delete this "playground" save and start a "real" game when you're done. that kinda stuff.Īlso what I did to start out was start on new farmer and just buy things, mess around, really fuck up a save right proper just learning what you like and don't like. I made my own little virtual menu for the left trackpad so I have the number row and function keys as well as a pause button, and use the right one as a mouse.Ī ton of my mods are buildings, new crops, things to get me more contracts and lazier farmers, increase the amount of used vehicles offered at once and widen the discount ranges. Having the helper on all the time really helps me as well, and you can lock it to always give you gamepad inputs so you can use the mouse freely without all the buttons changing. Ahhh yeah I play on Steam Deck mostly so I use a controller for pretty much everything.
